Fire and Light recycled glass dishes might be just what you need to add a colorful sparkle that will turn your guests’ heads and certainly make you smile. From orange, pink or cobalt blue dinner plates and bowls to an elegant and beautiful line of colored glass gifts – Fire and Light glassware is breathtakingly beautiful and luxurious.
About the Company:
Fire and Light was founded in 1995 as a way to utilize recycled glass chips and create something functional and beautiful. Recycled, molten glass is given pigment and then pressed into molds that create the beautiful glassware for sale in numerous galleries and gift stores around the country. A team of 200 people work together to create the colorful masterpieces found in savvy eco-shoppers’ kitchens around the country. Fire and Light was purchased by John and Natalie McClurg in 1999, and is still operated by the same principles it was founded upon – luxurious, stunning glassware that is eco-friendly.
Interestingly enough, the eco-friendly aspect goes far beyond the recycled glass the company uses to make the products. Using ‘green’ thinking, they’re always putting new eco-friendly ideas to use – like using recycled kegs from local microbreweries as vats to cool the ladles.
